On this week’s batch of Pretty Cure, we experience a rare stumbling by our girls. While the show can still provide great vibes and often incredible animation, we find ourselves in a series of character motives that either go nowhere or stories that have subtly toxic messaging. But with another Heartiel out of the picture and a new fae companion in the group, the show still has plenty of room to grow. If, you know, Lulun would chill out long enough so we can sleep.
