On these episodes, the beating heart of Kamen Rider Hibiki is revealed as the show truthfully and earnestly discusses the difficulties of single-parenthood, the pains of aging, and meeting the expectations we place on ourselves. We are firmly in the middle of this forest and enjoying the passing breezes of deft character work, and hey! Those sick fight scenes don’t hurt either. This batch of episodes really hit close to home for us, and hope the show can keep it up.
