As a rival machine, the Darilbalde is an interesting example of how mobile suit aesthetic has changed. Certainly, part of it is down to Ippei Gyoubu’s art style, but the bulky elegance of the Darilbalde, its spears and shields, it’s a far cry from the Zaku II Commander Type.
