This is the one, right? This is why we’re all here. I love Nightfire, I’ll go to bat for Agent Under Fire, but it’s the Rare-made Goldeneye 007 on Nintendo 64 that made anyone care about these games. From the iconic soundtrack, the revolutionary controls, the still-unmatched difficulty settings, the CLASSIC multiplayer, and more, Goldeneye 007 lit the fire that became the console shooter. And the movie? Well, famous Ridiculously Hot Man Pierce Brosnan and his post-Cold War adventure might have rescued the film series from the brink of death.
