Dziban took off their headphones, and sighed. It was fun watching the crew of The Cullet implode via the camera they’d hidden on the bridge, but now it made it pretty hard to imagine they’d come find Dziban and tell them the secret to getting back to the Cillara Sector quickly. Still, the mercenary had heard some pretty interesting things through that bug. Perhaps the road trip was just enough time for that intel to age a little bit, and give potential clients time to realize what it might be worth.
They prepped the launch protocol, and calculated an autopilot back to the Sector. …WOW that was a long ETA. Ah well. That’s what cryo sleep’s for, right?
