If you think about it, aircraft are the mecha of the skies. I mean, if you’re using the Japanese definition of mecha, that’s literally true, since they use it to encompass all military vehicles basically. So perhaps it’s not surprising to see Gundam concepts like the panoramic monitor appear in Ace Combat, but it IS pretty dope.
